People stare,
Turn their heads
Trying to divert their attention
away from the fact
That my afro has the
Power to distract,
Catch eyes like road signs
From miles away
"Beautiful head of hair coming
Up on your right, Exit Now"
But the smalls towns
always get overlooked
Major traffic going
Toward bigger, better
Artificial acts
Attractions.
