Untitled

You pity me because I’m crazy
Heads bow, talking to your shoes
Because you’re afraid to offend
But I only laugh because you’re
The ones with the real problem.
You say I’m crazy,
Become appalled because I wonder
Aimlessly about
As if the meadow I visualize
Is tangible and
I tell you that I can feel the
Blades of grass underneath
My feet.
I just shake my head at you
Because I’m not the one going
No where fast,
Catching yet another meeting
To accomplish nothing that lasts
Where’s the life?
The appreciation for the
Breezes that blow?
This newfangled stuff
That seems to choke you up
When the breaths become deep?
Oh that’s the fresh air
Taken in at a heavy dosage
By “crazy” people like me.
You say I must be insane
But business plans do not
Invade my dreams, robbing of
Slumber, ripping nerves at
The seams.
You gripe and complain and
Bitch and moan and rant
About how primes have come
And gone.
Wish you could have caught up
With memories,
Made time for the little things
Let go of all the worries
But yet you still manage to
Call me crazy.
Because I’ve got acquainted
With memories in my childhood
Made conversations with situations
That have long passed on
Embraced each little detail
As if I were nurturing my own child
But what you fail to realize
Is that the details are what
Make the big picture more grand,
The path of life is never without
A quick stumble, trip, fall over
A pebble.
Jump over them, and you’ll never
Know what its like
For a scratch to heal.
There is a method to my madness

Houston Is Hot

Although the sun seems to hide,
I still feel its piercing glare.
Clashing amongst rain clouds to
Create air so thick
It chokes you.

And it cannot be good for my hair.

Among a crowd of Amazon queens, there lies one faint dream barely hitting five foot three. And they call this gleam hope......Eh Shorty

Be Still

Dollar Pomade from the
Korean beauty supply
Up the street
I do not deny
That momma pullin' at
These kinks
Is torture indeed.

Twist and Pull

Twist

And

Pull

Fair Game

Gave you the most of me
The very center of my vulnerability
Disconnecting the electric fence
That sends shock values
Through shock value
Free use

A one way ticket
All-day season pass
But all you wanted to do
Was play games.
Now all my rides are
On maintaince
And repair

All the ideas in the world,
None that flow together.

Ahh the mind of a writer.
They said there would be
Days like this.
